The New Chevy Equinox EV is Coming Soon to Scranton, PA
Are you in the market for an exciting new electric
crossover to drive all over Wilkes-Barre? Then you will be excited to
learn more about the upcoming, brand-new Chevy Equinox EV. Available
soon at Tom Hesser Chevrolet, the Equinox EV will deliver outstanding,
fully electric performance.
Chevy Equinox EV Performance: What We Know
The Equinox EV will come standard with a single electric
motor that produces 210 horsepower. An available 290 horsepower electric
powertrain is available. Front-wheel drive will come standard with the
Equinox EV, while all-wheel drive will be available for customers who
want extra traction on the road. We do not yet know what the standard
zero-to-60 miles per hour acceleration time of the Equinox EV will be,
but it should be comparable to the 6.8-second zero-to-60 time of the
200-horsepower Chevy Bolt EUV.
The Equinox EV Battery: Driving Range and Charging Time
The Equinox EV base 1LT trim will come standard with a
driving range of 250 miles on a full charge. All higher trims will
feature a larger battery that will provide a driving range of up to 300
miles with front-wheel drive and 280 miles with all-wheel drive. All
Equinox EV models will have DC fast-charging capability, where you can
add about 70 miles of charge in just 10 minutes.
Why Drive a New Chevy EV?
Electric vehicles provide an exciting driving experience
without producing any tailpipe emissions. When you drive an electric
vehicle, you will never have to worry about having to fill up on gas
again. Because they don't have an engine, electric vehicles offer a
quiet driving experience, and cost less to maintain than
combustion-engine vehicles.
