Turbodiesel Engine Gets a Boost

Chevrolet gave its Duramax turbodiesel engine a boost, so it now produces 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque (up from 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque in the outgoing model). Silverado 1500 trucks with this motor and rear-wheel drive can tow up to 13,300 pounds. This 3.0-liter inline-six turbodiesel engine is available in Silverado 1500 Custom Trail Boss, LT, RST, LT Trail Boss, LTZ, and High Country trims.
Chevy Silverado 1500 Bison ZR2
Chevrolet also created a new off-road oriented Silverado 1500 edition for 2023. The ZR2 Bison, created in conjunction with American Expedition Vehicles, has specialized bumpers that improve its approach and departure angles without reducing ground clearance. Other Exterior Updates
Chevrolet added additional exterior color options to the Silverado 1500’s palette for 2023, including Radiant Red Tintcoat, Sterling Gray Metallic, and Harvest Bronze Metallic. Additionally, Wilkes-Barre drivers can now have a protective film added to the front end of the truck to help it resist wear.
