One of the biggest concerns you may have on the road is the status of your tires. You may begin to feel a severe vibration as you drive along or feel a loss of grip as you drive in the rain. These may indicate that there may be an issue with your tires. We here at Tom Hesser Chevrolet would like to share with you more signs that your tires may be a problem.

Our team here can help you find the right tires by visiting our tire finder tool to browse our selection of tires for sale in Scranton, PA. Don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

Sidewall Bulges

While on the road, you may inadvertently hit a pothole or other obstacle. You notice a bulge on the tire's sidewall when this happens. This is called a "blister." These blisters result from a break in the tire's inner liner. This blister could rupture and blow out the tire if you continue to the driver. Is it important to bring the vehicle for a tire inspection and repair or replacement?

Tire Pressure Issues

Over time, the pressure in your tires will begin to deflate with around one pound of pressure. If your tires can't stay inflated, there could be a possible leak or issue with the tire. We highly you bring it to our service center immediately so that we can check the tire for repair and replacement.

Uneven Tire Tread

If you look around and see the tread on your tires is uneven, it could result from a bad alignment, lack of tire rotation, or uneven tire pressures. To help avoid a potential bald tire, we recommend that you bring your vehicle so that we can replace your tires. We also recommend you rotate your tires every 5,000 miles or so.
